Progress on Wall of Destruction’s movie adaptation

So, took a break to watch some movies today with the family. Pompeii, was one of the movies and it struck me to make some changes for the screen play. I guess I am learning to watch movies for their story’s presentation and not just for the story’s entertainment.  Hope that doesn’t ruin the joy of watching them.

Anyway, I enjoyed the movie and then it hit me. While Risor, my protagonist, fights the good fight, he has no main antagonist. I think I discovered his antagonists while watching Pompeii. Two of the actually, after all, planning the sequel, too.

So this will be not as true to the book as I initially thought. Hopefully in a good way that adds more power to the story telling. This also will make me think more of how to write the second book and probably others after that. So happy to grow and learn.  Only a few chapters into the screen play of this, but enjoying it so far.

Have a good weekend.
