First Happy Father’s Day to all.  Fathers and mothers having to pull double duty.

So writing my novel in OpenOffice and have around 320 pages but exporting to a PDF, I get around 160 pages. Not sure why the difference, but I assume the PDF is probably more accurate.  Figure I am a little more than half way through the story so probably closer to 300 pages for PDF when done.

Hopefully this storyline pleases yall and makes you want to read more. I have plans for a few short story/novellas diving much deeper into areas of the story or branching off to cover the story of other characters that come into this story but quickly disappear. My goal is to put together 5 shorts; the first one will be free and the next two paid.  Afterwards, I will build the last two and publish them as part of an anthology of all 5 stories.

If people are still into this storyline, I was thinking to put out another novel based on the Raman Empire’s experience of this and then probably another 5 shorts based on that novel. Kinda get you both sides of the story with some different point of views of the same events.

Of course if the storyline isn’t as popular as I would hope, then I have other story ideas to work on and I can come back to this one in the future.

Also still thinking of the crowdsourcing idea and would like to know if anyone has used that route before and what was their experience?

Til next time.
